Encrypted Employee Vaults
Each employee receives a private vault for storing passwords, passkeys, secure notes, payment details, and other sensitive information.
NordPass uses XChaCha20 encryption and a zero-knowledge architecture. NordPass states that the contents of a user’s vault remain encrypted and cannot be viewed by the company operating the platform.
Secure Credential Sharing
Employees can share credentials without sending passwords through email, chat, tickets, or spreadsheets.
Permissions can be assigned to individual users, groups, folders, and subfolders. Access can then be updated or revoked when an employee changes roles or leaves the organization.
Password Generator and Autofill
NordPass can generate strong, unique passwords and automatically save and enter them on supported websites and applications.
This reduces the need for employees to create memorable passwords or reuse the same credentials across multiple systems.
Password Health
Password Health identifies credentials stored in employee vaults that are weak, reused, old, or known to be exposed.
Administrators can view organization-wide security trends without seeing the employees’ actual passwords and can notify users when credentials need to be updated.
Data Breach Scanner
The Data Breach Scanner monitors company domains and employee email addresses for information appearing in known breaches.
Administrators can review affected users, risk levels, detected breaches, and trends through the business dashboard. The Business plan includes monitoring for one primary domain, with additional domains available through NordPass.
Company-Wide Password Policies
Administrators can define password requirements and apply security settings across the organization.
Policies can help standardize password strength, multifactor authentication, automatic locking, and how employees handle sensitive credentials.
